Trump Boat Parade Party Ends With Supporters Scrambling For Their Lives In Apparent Act Of Divine Descension

No one was hurt.

A party held by Donald Trump supporters party hit rock bottom in Texas on Saturday.

According to The New York Times, several people were rescued from Lake Travis when at least four boats sank during an event held as a demonstration of support for President Donald Trump's presidential campaign. First responders rushed to the scene and rescued the partygoers without any injuries while the boats carrying "Trump 2020" signs drowned.

“We had an exceptional number of boats on the lake today,” Kristen Dark, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office in Travis County told The Times. “When they all started moving at the same time, it generated significant waves.”

Steve Salinas, who helped organize the event, said he saw boats of various sizes on Saturday, including 60-foot yachts. Salinas said the water had been choppy and the swells were high.

“You can have really great water one second, and it could get some pretty heavy swells in a matter of minutes,” he said. “Once boats get on a lake, mother nature has its own plans.”

While the Trump supporters scrambled for their lives, the internet couldn't help but resist poking fun at such an incident.

Some saw the disaster as a metaphor of the last four years.

Thoughts and prayers were sent with a hint of sarcasm.

Some say divine intervention may have played a factor.

Trump supporters were caught up in another dangerous event in Portland last month when their boat sank on the Willamette River, USA Today reported. The trend has also continued in Florida, California, Illinois and New Jersey.

Pacey Chynow said she helped organize the Trump party on Saturday because a Trump-led country is the future she wants for her daughter.

"I am fighting for her," the Trump supporter told USA Today. "This is my way of saying this is the future that I want for her to inherit.”

It's not clear if the future includes more overcrowded boat parties.
