Thank You, Ex: Jhené Aiko And Big Sean Collab On ‘Single Again’ Track

The former flames dated from 2016 to 2019.

Breakups suck, but former lovers Big Sean and Jhené Aiko are showing fans it doesn't mean there has to be bad blood. The Detroit rapper released a new single Friday featuring his ex-girlfriend.

Titled "Single Again," the breakup anthem signifies the culmination of a relationship and the importance of living life on your own after a stretch of cohabitation. Ty Dolla $ign also lends his vocals to the song.

Tweeting about the message behind his latest release, the 31-year-old wrote: "I never knew that I didn’t know how to be alone in life. I always would find so much joy n happiness in a relationship or being with friends, but I didn’t know how important it was to be in a relationship with yourself."

The "Moves" rapper also sent some advice for those experiencing a similar situation. From the looks of Twitter, fans are applauding the ironic, yet mature action by the former couple.

Sean and Aiko were in a relationship from 2016 to 2019 and previously collaborated on a studio album, Twenty88, released in 2016.
