Everything We Know About Nick Cannon's 7 Children, All Of Whom He Says Were Created 'On Purpose'

Father's Day has to be lit in the Cannon household.

Nick Cannon has a lot of children. But according to the Wild 'N Out host, every single one of their conceptions was intentional.

Cannon has seven children with four different mothers. He welcomed four of the kids in the last year.

"I'm having these kids on purpose," the Howard alum told JT and Yung Miami of the City Girls on his Power Mornings radio show. "I don't have no accident!"

"Trust me, there's a lot of people I could've gotten pregnant that I didn't," the 40-year-old continued. "The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant. You only live once."

Ahead, we've listed all we know about all seven of Cannon's kids.

Cannon welcomed his first two children, a set of twins, in 2011
Cannon was married to singer Mariah Carey from 2008 to 2016. On April 30, 2011, the duo announced the birth of twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe Cannon. Coincidentally born on their third wedding anniversary, ABC News reported at the time that after welcoming twins, Cannon and Carey listened to the latter's 2005 chart-topping single "We Belong Together."

According to People, Monroe (named after late actress and entertainer Marilyn Monroe) does not have a middle  name because her mother doesn't have one either. On the other hand, Scott is the middle name of both Cannon and his grandmother.
Golden Sagon Cannon was born in 2017

The first of his two children with ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell, Golden Sagon Cannon was born on February 21, 2017. per Today. Cannon said Moroccan and Monroe were thrilled to officially become older siblings.

Cannon and Bell welcomed Powerful Queen Cannon just before Christmas in 2020

Cannon and Bell announced their second child together days before Christmas in 2020. In an Instagram post, Bell praised Cannon and called him her "rock through the most intense yet empowering natural water birth."

Bell first announced her second pregnancy last June with a lovely image of Golden wearing a superhero cape with the words "Big Brother" to her Instagram.

Six months from Golden's birth, Cannon became father to a second set of twins

On June 14, The Masked Singer host welcomed children five and six with professional DJ Abby De La Rosa. The twin boys mark the second set of twins with the Cannon surname.


"JUNE 14TH, 2021" De La Rosa wrote on Instagram. "Welcome to the world Zion Mixolydian Cannon & ZIllion Heir Cannon."

In an April Instagram post announcing the news, the first-time mother penned a lovely message to Zion and Zilly, nicknames she gave the boys. CNN captured the statement before De La Rosa removed it.

"I pray that God gives you both the strength to walk brave and boldly in your individual truth just like your Daddy. That God bless you and your brother and guide you into living out your full purpose," she said.

Zen S. Cannon is Cannon's seventh child and fourth in the last year

Nine days after Zion and Zilly, Cannon became a father for a seventh time, his first with Wild 'N Out model Alyssa Scott.

"I will love you for eternity 🖤 6•23•21," Scott wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post July 3, confirmed son Zen S. Cannon's arrival.

Scott first teased Cannon was the father in a special Father's Day post days before the birth. While People writes her colleague's face wasn't revealed, the tattoos seemingly match Cannon's as he cradled her bump. According to the publication, this is Scott's second child.

"Celebrating you today," Scott posted on her Instagram Story.

Juggling a growing family is no easy feat. But if Cannon says he knows what he's doing, we guess he knows what he's doing.
